Howard J. Waldman, M.D., D.O.
Consultant in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
Dr. Howard Waldman is the Director of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Headache & Pain Center since December 1986. Dr. Waldman treats patients who suffer from various ailments such as: arthritis, tendonitis, back pain, and sport injuries. Dr. Waldman is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a sub-specialty in pain management by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Waldman performed his residencies at the University of Kansas Medical Center and at the Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Waldman also received two medical degrees: a doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine and a medical degree from the Saint Lucia Health Sciences University.

Ian
L. Belson, D.O.
Consultant in Neurology, Board Certified
Dr. Belson joined the Headache & Pain Center in January 2003 as a neurology
consultant. Dr. Belson is board certified by the American College of Neuropsychiatry.
Dr. Belson obtained his doctorate in osteopathy from the Kansas City College
of Osteopathy and Surgery (now known as University of Health Sciences –
College of Osteopathic Medicine ). Dr. Belson performed his internship at
the Detroit Osteopathic Hospital in Detroit , Michigan . Dr. Belson’s
residency training took place at the following locations: Detroit Osteopathic
Hospital, Wayne State University (for EMG, EEG); at Detroit General (in Neurological
Emergencies, Neuroradiology and Neuropathology); Child neurology at the Children’s
Hospital; Psychiatry at Lafayette Clinic; child neurology and muscular dystrophy;
and stroke, rehabilitation, general internal medicine and neurosurgery at
Detroit Osteopathic Hospital.
Britt Borden, M.D. Neurosurgery Dr. Britt Borden graduated from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Camden New Jersey in 1991. He completed his Internship In General Surgery at Northwestern University and completed his Neurosurgical Residency at West Virginia University at Morgantown, West Virginia. Dr. Borden then completed a Fellowship in Complex Spinal Surgery Eastern Virginia Medical School as well as a Fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology at Cook County Hospital. Dr. Borden has a special interest in surgery of the spine, spinal and vagal nerve stimulation, and in surgical treatment of brain tumors.

David P. Bankston, MD Consultant in Pain Management
Dr. Bankston joined the Headache and Pain Center in October 2003. Dr. Bankston is a consultant in pain management and is board certified in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Bankston completed his residency in anesthesiology and internship in General Surgery at Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Bankston received his medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
Wahid Rashidzada, M.D. Consultant in Neurology
Dr. Rashidzada is board certified in Neurology. He completed his Neuroolgy residency at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. He completed a National Institute of Health Post Doctoral Fellowship in Neuroscience Research at the Kessler Foundation Research Center in West Orange, New Jersey and a Sleep Medicine Fellowship at the University of Missouri Kansas City. He has a special interest in sleep disorders including Sleep Apnea, Restless Leg Syndrome, Periodic Leg Movements, Narcolepsy, Insomnia and other Parasomnia's.

Francisco (Frank) Judilla, M.D.
Consultant in Pain Management Dr. Judilla joined the Headache & Pain Center in June 2005. He completed his residency at Newark Beth Israel Regional Medical Center in Newark, NJ. He practiced pain management in Great Bend, Kansas and Wichita, Kansas prior to moving to Leawood. He is a member of the Society for Pain Practice Management. He is board eligible in anesthesiology.

Robert Trout, M.D.

Dr. Trout joined the Headache & Pain Center in April 2000. Dr. Trout is a consultant in physical medicine & rehabilitation. Dr. Trout treats patients who suffer from various ailments such as: arthritis, tendonitis, back pain, and sport injuries. Dr. Trout is board certified in physical medicine & rehabilitation and performed his residency at William Beaumont Hospital and received his medical degree at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine.
James K. Brannon, M.D. Consultant in Orthopedic Surgery
Dr. Brannon received his M.D. degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at King-Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Brannon has a special interest in joint preservation techniques and advanced hip arthroscopy. He invented the technique and instrumentation used in the joint preservation.
Michael Lowry, M.D. Consultant in Neurosurgery
Dr. Lowry received his M.D. degree from The University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. He completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
Consultant in Orthopedic Surgery
Dr. Baig completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopedic surgery at Kings Brook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He completed a fellowship in Spinal Surgery at Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard University, Boston Mass. He is Board Certified by The American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
He has a special interest in spine surgery and complex orthopedic procedures. .
